Ranked "excellent" by 90% of delegates

We recommend the ECV and its Module 2-1 course to those either planning or actually undertaking construction projects using the 2017 FIDIC Contracts without hesitation.
There are so many changes and amendments between 1999 & 2017 Contracts, it’s really not easy to help participants understand the differences, but you make it with your brilliant experiences and well designed training materials.
The course was wonderful and indeed we had good insights in the application of FIDIC. The industry is enriched with knowledgeable and motivational trainers like you.

What are FIDIC Contracts?

About FIDIC

Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, FIDIC is the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (the acronym stands for Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs-Conseils).

FIDIC’s key role and that of its Member Associations around the world is to improve people’s quality of life through the promotion of quality, integrity and sustainability in the infrastructure industry and the projects and services it delivers on a global scale.

About FIDIC Contracts

FIDIC have provided Contracts to be used by Employers in the international construction sector since 1957. These Contracts have been adopted worldwide by Employers representing Governments and the private sector, and by major funding Agencies including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank and the Millennium Challenge Corporation.

In September 1999, FIDIC introduced a new suite of Contracts for worldwide use, as follows:

  • Conditions of Contract for Construction (Red Book)
  • Conditions of Contract for Plant & Design-Build (Yellow Book)
  • Conditions of Contract for EPC Turnkey Projects (Silver Book)
  • Short Form of Contract (Green Book)

In December 2017, FIDIC introduced the 2nd Edition Contracts for the Red, Yellow and Silver Books.
