Module 4 – "Contract Management and Administration Disciplines under 1999 FIDIC Contracts (Red and Yellow Books)"
This course is both comprehensive and interactive and meets the needs of representatives of Employers, Engineers and Contractors in the execution of FIDIC Contracts. It provides clear guidance in the management responsibilities and duties of the Parties and the Engineer with detailed check lists and work exercises from Award/Start-up to Taking-Over/Final account. The 2 day course will be provided publically but is also available as an "in-house" course. This course content is built upon ECV’s 10 years of training experience throughout the world and responding to the needs of the international construction industry.

News in Brief

New contract awards - 2010/2011

Millennium Challenge Corporation of the USA has awarded ECV a further one year Contract to provide the ECV / FIDIC Modules 1 & 2 to their organisations in Philippines, Senegal, USA, Lesotho, Tanzania and Moldova. This is the fourth consecutive year of training by ECV with the MCC and now awarded fifth year for 2012. This will involve training in Zambia and Moldova.

United Nations Welfare and Relief Agency, UNWRA, required ECV/FIDIC "in-house" courses in Amman, Jordan for its delegates in the Middle East.

The Department for the Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, has awarded ECV the contract to undertake FIDIC Contracts Training for some of its staff in Ottawa, Canada, February 2011.

The Government of Bermuda, Department of Public Works engaged ECV to provide "in-house FIDIC Contracts training". Similar courses have been provided for departments within the Abu Dhabi Government.

The water authority of Oman, HAYA continues since 2007 to use the services of ECV in contractural training for its staff on an in-house basis.

KENGEN, the power authority in Kenya, authorized two weeks of intensive FIDIC training for forty of its staff in Naivasha, Kenya.

The Turkish Government has awarded 2 Contracts for ECV to provide consultancy assistance in the application of the 1999 FIDIC contracts.

"In-House" FIDIC training courses provided for Employers / Engineers / Contractors in Belgium, France, Austria, Tanzania, Mauritius, UK, Kenya, USA, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Ghana, El Salvador, Armenia and Turkey.

Contractual Consultancy related to FIDIC contracts provided in Denmark, Maldives, Cambodia, Romania, France, Bulgaria, Portugal, Lebanon, Austria, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Croatia.
